• Our bottles and jars are made from recyclable + refillable glass
• Our refill pouches are lightweight and durable, and they ship with no padding for less waste and emissions
• We avoid using product boxes when we can
• Our product boxes are made from post-consumer recycled content
• Our glass products ship in paper-based boxes with paper-based filler and tape
• Refills ship in paper envelopes
• No bubble wrap or plastic tape

As proud members of 1% for the Planet, we've committed to donating at least 1% of our annual sales revenue to environmental advocacy. In some years we've been able to donate as much as 5%.

Our donations help support many nonprofits working in a variety of important aspects of protecting our planet.

From sourcing environmentally-sustainable ingredients to the ethics of how we treat people and our planet, it all matters deeply to us.

We seek sustainably-minded suppliers, prioritize women and people of color when selecting our partners and vendors, and treat our beloved customers with respect.

Our skincare is made in Los Angeles by a small team who is paid a living wage with health benefits, paid holidays, PTO and sick days.
